MUSIC GIST: NOMINIEES OF THE NEXT RATED IN THE HEADIES AWARDS

In Nigerian music industry the Headies awards is one of the most contentious and contested award.

This controversial award organized by the popular Hip TV channel recently released a full nominees list for her 12th edition which will take place at the Eko Convention Center on the 5th of May, 2018.

With the brief information about the Headies awards, this post was actually made to focus on the next rated award so that we can debate on the nominees that are likely to win this prestigious award the nominies are: Firstly, the guy with a melodious voice who was signed to Davido's DMW record, stage named Mayorkun. Secondly, is the British-born Nigerian producer and singer, Maleek berry. Thirdly, is Dice Alice, the chocolate city rapper. fortly, is the eastern igbotict rapper, Zoro swagbag. Finally, Jonny Drille, Mavins signee.

MAYORKUN
Mayorkun have been doing very good in his singing stuff. He dropped many hit songs in the industry after his signing. The songs are Eleko, Sade, Che Che, Prayer, Back to back, then his most popular song Mama. which made him so popular in the industry. With all these songs i think he has chances of winning this award.

MALEEK BERRY 
Maleek berry is also another wonderful singer. His voice makes everything musically better. He was popularly known as a producer. most hit songs by Wizkid was produced by him. He produced hit songs like Juice by Ycee, Walahi and Talk for me by Runtown, Short Skirt by Mr Eazi etc. He started singing recently and was good at it too with singles like Pon my mind, his verse in Ycee's Juice, Next and a lot more that i can't remember. With all his efforts in the industry. I surely believe that his is fit for this competition.

ZORO SWAGBAG 
Zoro swagbag, the Igbo boy possesses a unique style of rap that makes fans to keep on waiting for more. His top singles so far are Ogene, Ekolac, Buy the bar, Oyoko, Achikolo, Land lady, Bianca, Mbuza Mabuza. His fan from the east really love his vibes. He is with no argument fit for this competition.

Seriously i don't know why these two were nominated how many songs do Jonny Drille and Dice Alice have that are great hits?  well somebody may say something different about them.but i strongly don't tink so

These music artists are good and all deserves it but if i am the one with the power to give this award. I will justfuly give it to the DMW's signee, Mayorkun
