The Headies is the biggest, most prestigious and most controversial music award in Africa. It has been active for over a decade now. This year's edition is called the 13th edition themed "The Power of Dream" According to the organizers, only musical works released between January 2018 and June 2019 will be eligible for submission this year, adding that such works also stand a chance to be nominated for the annual award. The 13th Edition Headies award features 29 unique categories, each with nomination of different African songs and finest Artistes. Our reporter recalls that last year's edition saw Nigeria's music sensation, Olamide, with the highest number of nominations (10). Others who followed him were Tuface (7), Wizkid (6), Davido (4), and Clarence Peters (4). The organisers said registration for this year's entry closes by midnight of September 24th, 2019, and advised individuals to visit www.theheadies.com to submit their entries for possible nomination...

The MTV Movie & TVaward was held on Monday, 15th of June. It was a great event.
